REAL LIFE

A photographic project that seeks to question authenticity in our time. Using mannequins on one side—figures that tell us “how we should look”—and statues on the other—figures that tell us “how we should behave” in order to be accepted and respectable. Spontaneous and staged photographs taken in what we call “real life,” supported by black and white to remove the possibility of trivialization. The project aims to create an immediate doubt about whether what is seen is real or not. Some images include a touch of humor, offering a critique of socially and politically correct behaviors.
